Hi Team,
My customer is now seeking discrete Buck solution for charging NIH battery, this socket will be platform socket in future if used. Below are specifics required:
1. Battery maximum voltage, or the output of BUCK is 28V maximum;
2. Input voltage for the Buck is 32V~52V;
3. Constant current is 1A;
4. Reference voltage accuracy is 1%;
5. Can accept external MOSFET;
Based on the requirement, I choosed TPS40170, but as customer need Constant current and Constant voltage loop control. So here I want to check with you:
1. Firstly, if TPS40170 be able to realize CC and CV by using external discrete solution;
2. If above is ok, I'm not sure can we kindly help provide the CC and CV solution/sch or reference diagram? Thanks.
