LM53635-Q1: CISPR25 class 3

Part Number: LM53635-Q1

My customer developing devices with CISPR 25 requirements.

I proposing him LM536xx-Q1 for power domain.
There are some training and design about implementation:

training.ti.com/optimizing-automotive-dcdc-converter-designs-emi-and-thermals
training.ti.com/designing-low-emi-dcdc-converters-automotive-systems-part-1
training.ti.com/optimizing-dcdc-converters-emi-automotive-systems

But all of them describes class 5. When my customer require class 3.

Does TI have power design meets CISPR 25 class 3 requirements?
Or it's possible to improve these designs up to class 3? How?

  • Hi Vladimir ,

Class 5 is most stringent requirement and if the design complies with Class 5 it will automatically comply with class 3 .
You wont need to change anything .Follow the EVM EMI filter as well as Layout and you should be able to meet Class 3 requirements .
