I am survey boost IC has bypass function. Since our battery voltage is 9V-12.6V.
We need VBAT<VOUT(12VDC/2A) converter can bypass BAT voltage.
Looks TPS61178 maximum duty 93% @ 500kHz, thus converter just work under 11.6VDC kept output 12VDC, worst case just use drop voltage of diode, but have more power loss in diode.
a. 11.6VDC< VBAT < 12VDC, TPS61178 will turn off. (I need bypass mode)
b. 12VDC<12.6VDC, VOUT will flow though from VBAT by TPS61178 internal body diode of MOSFET.
Do you have suitable solution can advise me? thanks.
