Hi Team,

Our customer use TPS65982 for system development(sink only), and give us FW(.bin) file and project(.pjt) for verifying their VDM commands with our product.

So, we bought TPS95982 - EVM and replace original FW with customer  FW, but it can't  execute PD contract anymore after FW update and re-powered.

The following are my questions:

1. I proceeded FW updated by Aardvark(SPI) and Flash-Center-GUI, but customer  FW is only 64kB rather than 1024KB. Is this procedure correct?

2. Can TPS65982 EVM  be powered from type C connector when it is just a power consumer?

3. I try to update FW by  TPS6598x Utilities GUI, but  it show below error  message when I click "Test Configuration Settings. How to fix it?

    Hi Otto,

    Can you confirm that you imported the "aardvark.dll" and "aardvark_py.py" files into the correct location? Please follow the steps in section 3.1 of the app customization users guide:

    You should paste them into the correct location as highlighted in the image below:
