Hi,
I am designing a DC-DC converter using the LM5122, with these characteristics:
Vin=(32~~44)[V],Vout=48[V] and Output Current=18A.
I would like to know how many phases would be required for the specifications.Besides that, you(TI) have desing calculator for LM5122?

Hi Vitor,

Unfortunately there is not a design calculator for the LM5122. For many applications WEBENCH can be used and the datasheet shows the design equations.

A design with 4 phases would probably be the easiest to find reasonably sized components. Though not the exact specifications this reference design might be a good option for a starting point.

Thanks for the reply, I'm still doing the converter with the 4 phases, I would like to know if it is necessary between OPT and Vcc pins, if necessary, how do I select it?

Would you please refer to Figure 34 in the datasheet? Slave 2 needs to set OPT=VCC, all the other three (Master, Slave 1, Slave 3) need to set OPT=GND.
