TPS23861: About unused port setting

In the case of unused port, Is unused port OK to pin setting only? (Datasheet page 86, GATEx: Open and SENx / DRAINx: GND)

Is register setting unnecessary to change? (For example, register 12h is OK to default, etc)

※Customer want to reduce EEPROM's load.

    Hi Satoshi,

    It is not necessary to change the 12h register setting from its default value. Setting up the unused port, as shown in page 86 of the TPS23861 datasheet, will mean that the PSE will continuously run and repeat the detection phase and will never proceed forward in Auto and Semi-Auto modes.
