BQ78350-R1: with BQ76940 AFE

Will not charge up past 3400mV per cell which is the cell balancing value.

Datalog shows ManufAccess 0x0701 changes to 0x0549 when battery voltage reaches 51049mV

Discharge is good and everything calibrates well.  What setting have I missed?

    Here is some more information,

    AvTimeFull goes to 0

    ChgCurr goes from 9000 to 0

    SafetyAlertCD goes from 00 to 10 to 08

    SafetyStatCD goes from  00          to 10

    Cells are all in balance.

    Does anyone have a good configuration for 15S LiFePO4?

    Hi Michael,
    Did you configure the gauge and the AFE (bq78350 and bq76940) for the correct number of cells which you are using which in your case is 15. Pls refer to the user guide of both devices on how to configure the number of cells. Also, pls check your overvoltage protection settings to ensure that you aren't crossing the threshold you programmed.

    The BQ76940 is configured correctly from a hardware standpoint.
    I understood that it is Not necessary to program the 76940 when it is connected to the BQ78350-r1. correct?
