We are looking for a buck controller with following requirements:
Vin = 55 VDC, Vout = 12 VDC, Iout = 5A. Current Limit = adjustable
The Buck-converter has to work rarely and only for 10ms (holdup). Therefore we are looking for the smallest and most cost-effective solution. In this application, efficiency is not important, since the converter has to work only for 10ms every so often. Which controller do you recommend for this application (LM5085, or other controllers better suitable)?
