BQ40Z60: Can the REGN serve a 5V power supply output?

Part Number: BQ40Z60

I''ll need a 5V power supply to power my pushbutton on/off controller.

I've looked the defenition of PIN REGN of BQ40Z60, and it looks like it can be served as a low current power supply.

I was wondering when the REGN will stop  output. I'm assuming as long as the DC adapator is plugged in OR the voltage of cell is higher than 2500mV, the REGN should be functional. Otherwise, the REGN will stop working. If this is true, this is a perfectly always-on output for my pushbutton on/off controller.

Could you confirm that?

thanks.
