BQ Evaluation SW

I have a problem with the BQ evaluation SW. I am running this on a 32-bit Vista machine. With the BQ27500 connected to the EV2300 I get the following warning when I open the BQ evaluation SW "The detected device is not comptible with this application! Proceed at your own risk" When I proceed I am able to read and write from flash without a problem. If I go to send and I2C command to the board I get the following error "Run-time error '438' object doesn't suppport this property or method" I am just trying to enable the IT algorithm. Any help would be appreciated.

    first, do you know the firmware version of your device ?

    in the directory c:\...\bq Evaluation Software you need 2 files (one *.ini et the orther *.encr) for your device and firmware version. for exemple, my fuel gauge is bq27510, firmware 1.11 and the I have this files : bq27510_1_11.encr and bq27510_1_11.ini

    i think that you need to update your bq eval software
