BQ40Z50-R2: Difference between -R1 and -R2 chips

We are currently designing smart battery with BQ40Z50-R1 and I just found out that there is BQ40Z50-R2 coming also.

What are the differences between -R1 and -R2? Do you have any documentation that would tell those differences.

HI Jaakko,

Since the device hasn't been released yet, we don't have any documents to share at the moment. Also, since it hasn't been finalized, I don't know what new changes are implemented in the new firmware yet

Hi Jaakko,

I was mistaken, the bq40z50-R2 actually released a few agos but we are still putting togetherthe change list between the two devices in question. Once done, we will have it online.
