Hi

According to the datasheet, if SRN voltage is greater than AVCC the charger can enter SLEEP mode.

Is that true for both of BQ24172 and BQ24170 as the way to enter SLEEP mode?

Is there other way to enter SLEEP? 

And the maximum current is 15uA when the device in sleep mode, is it correct?

    Hi,

    Yes, if SRN voltage is greater than AVCC the charger enters SLEEP mode. This is true for both the bq24170 and bq24172.

    Another time the IC will enter Sleep Mode is if an adapter is suddenly removed so that only the battery is connected. The IC will remain in Sleep Mode until the system voltage drops close to SRN.

    The Maximum current drain from the battery when in sleep mode is 15uA, you are correct.
