TPS40090: Whether can it be used for boost application?

Hi! Ti,

I want to build the multiple phase solar panel DC/DC converter. Can I use the IC of TPS40090 as controller? I saw TI has some reference design using this IC for buck regulator but my application is to use for boost circuit. I would get the confirming of the IC can be used for boost regulation with multiple phases.

LM5122 is recommeded for multi-phase boost converter.

My application actually is three phase LLC full bridge converter which has four MOSFET for single phase. Is the LM5122 proper for the application?

I'm not familar with LLC full bridge converter.
