Regarding to the variation of Ct on MC33063A, my customer is asking a question.
They will design Ct (<100kHz) by Ton/Toff from datasheet(Figure 1).
But according to datasheet(page4), the variation exists on oscillator frequency(fosc).
For example,
They designed Ct(fosc<100kHz) the following.
Ct=0.2nF, Ton=10usec, Toff=2.5usec, fosc=about 80kHz (f=1/(ton+toff))
In this case, the fosc that designed by Ton/Toff(Ct) might be exceeded than 100kHz by the variation.
(It seems to +/- 27% at CT = 1 nF)
(Question)
How much variation do they need to estimate ?
