How to measure acid battery internal resistance?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100-G1

I need a reference design or chip set can measure acid battery internal resistance. I have try at http://www.ti.com/lsds/ti/analog/powermanagement/power_portal.page

But I can't find the solution for my problem. If you have experienced. Lets give me some suggestion

  • the internal impedance of a battery varies with its state of charge. A fully charged battery will typically have less resistance than an empty battery. Our impedance track gauges implements continuous measurement of battery resistance and capacity to be able to determine state of charge of the cell. Pls see our bq34z100-G1 device for gauging lead acid batteries

    thanks
