Hi ,

   we are using BQ76920 with ATTINY 24A as a host master. The problem i am facing that at the time of charging and discharging, bq76920 does not provides or takes power continuously . It charges the battery for some seconds then it gets off , again it starts charging and again off. the same thing is on discharging.  This all done according to ALERT pin of BQ76920. because it continuously switching. The RC value is 1Mega and 220pf

    the ALERT may not be false triggering nor detecting residual voltage. 250uS of settling time is OK. Check the status register to validate there are no faults that need clearing( writing 1). On the SYS_STAT register pay close attention to the XREADY bit.
