We got circuit information and waveforms using with TPS54540 from customer.
When they use this IC at 2Mhz switching.There is a period that continue to Switch ON.Please see attached.
They would like to know why this phenomenon was seen.
If they changed diode from SM560C to SM540C,this phenomenon wasn't seen.

The design doesn't look stable even when they change the diode . The Switching needs to be stable and i can see from their waveform in both cases that switching is not stable .
Here are my suggestions on the Schematic .
1. The RT resistance seems to have wrong value .
2. Reduce the value of Output LC filter .
3. Verify the compensation .
4. Below is the Schematic that is generated using Webench . Customer can further customize the design using Webench.
