I'm using the TPS65920 in an application with an external codec, but I'd still like to use the CLK256FS signal to provide the 12.288MHz signal I need for my external audio codec. TI document: TPS65930/TPS65920 Integrated Power Management \Audio Codec (TPS65930 Only), Silicon Revision 1.0 Data Manual (TI Literature Number: SWCS037E
May 2008–Revised October 2009) led me to believe that I could use this signal on the TPS65920 (see page 14, table 2-1, footnote 1 where it says this signal is valid on the TPS65920 as well). However, on page 3 of Application Report SWCA081–June 2009, TPS65920/30 Schematic Checklist, it says that CLK256FS is valid only for the TPS65930. Which of these is correct?
