BQ24770: Operating Parameters

Questions from customers:

 

We are using a power supply voltage of 14,5Volts @150Walts. We are planning to have a loading regime of 0,5C.

 

11.1V, 11.6Ah, 128.8Wh

 

What are the operating parameters of the IC BQ24770RUYT, considering the data informed above? We are using the BQ Studio to adjust the IC.

    I would think the charging voltage would be 12.6V which is same as bq24770's default 3S setting.
    Charging current setting 0x14H register could be 5.8A.
    What is your input source current rating? You may need to change the input current limit setting to prevent input source crash.
    Those three registers are basic registers to run bq24770. For other functions, please check the datasheet for the detail.

    You may also find some 3rd party website which gives some demo code.
