I had a customer ask the above question. Is the part capable of this? (I know that the part is NRND).

    Team,

    In addition to the above question, the customer wishes to know

    "does the placement of the device into ship mode cause the device to lose the golden file that has been uploaded to it?"

    Any information here would be appreciated.

    Hi Carolus,
    When in ship mode, the device is essentially in shut down mode. It will not monitor temperature. Putting the device in ship mode does not cause it to loose the golden file. the golden file is programmed on non-volatile memory (flash) of the gauge so you don't loose your configurations when the device is put in ship mode.
