hi sir:

our customer want to check TPS56428/ TPS65283-1 Thermal parameter in θjc & θja.

other Dc converter θja>θjc, but TPS56428/ TPS65283-1 θja<θjc.

please help to check this thermal parameter.

hi Lin:

I check TPS56428, it has two θjc, one is θjc(top)=51.6,θjc(bot)=5.3, which means it can disppating thermal to ambient by top case and bottom pcb. so that you see the θja<θjc(top)
