TPS51200: LFP term in datasheet

Hi,

I'm wondering what the term "LFP" in the TPS51200 datasheet (page 25) stands for. I can see that the difference to the standard is that there is a resistor between "VO" and "VOSNS" and a capacitor from "VOSNS" to GND. There is an other thread (e2e.ti.com/.../572614) in which is is stated that it should be "LPF" (low pass filter) but there is no verified answer.
If it is "low pass filter" it would be good to have a bit more information on when to use this resistor/capacitor and maybe what the benefit is.

Hi Patrick,

LPF stands for low pass filter.

The low pass filter is suggested to reduce the parasitic effect of Vout sense trace and potential noise coupled to the trace if the trace in layout is long.

So I think "LFP" is a typo in the datasheet and it should be "LPF" (?). Your explanation would help in the datasheet.
