Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

I simulated TPS54824 under Vin=15V, Vout=10.5V, Iout=8A and Fsw=500kHz.

But I could not simulate it because of "Optimization data is not available for this design!".

Could you tell me this reason?

(Is this reason the ton_min does not fullfill this device's recommended operating conditions?)

I tried this. I entered Vin = 15 V, Vout = 10.5 V and Iout = 8 A into the default screen on theTPS54824 product page. Webench creates the design. I went to the advanced options on the left hand side and manually entered 500 kHz switching frequency. Webench re-created the design with no issues.

I simulated TPS54824 at Ta=90℃.

Webench limits the junction temperature to 125 C. Higher switching frequency means more switching losses so Webench limits the frequency range based on junction temperature.

Please let me ask you the questions in addition.

1.This device's recommended operating conditions of Tj is 150℃.

Does that mean the Tj that I can simulate it is max 125℃?

2. Does the output voltage tolerance include the ripple voltage at no load?

Yes, 125 C is the highest junction temperature you can simulate in webench.
The Vout tolerance is based on the IC and resistor divider values only. There is a separate line item for Vout ripple.
