LM3017: 12V to 24V Controller

Hi Team,

I got an inquiry from one of my customers where they need a boost controller with an input of 12V to an output of 24V, 2A. They also need the feature of true shut down during a fault to protect the load from the main line. I have proposed our LM3017. I just wanted to confirm if this part can support an output of 24V and 2A. I tried in webench but faced errors but was able to make a design with 1.5A instead. Can you confirm if the LM3017 is capable of this?

Again, sorry for the delay. This part is transferred to us recently and I am not very familiar with it. I read through the datasheet and it should support your application. There is a way to go around the error of "junction temperature too high" when using Webench: reduce the ambient to -40C.
