we don't specify the maximum duty cycle of this device. it may varies with different device and temperature as you mentioned. however, at typical condition, the maximum duty cycle is approximately 92% bench on my measurement. And the duty cycle in customer's application is only 83%. i think it is very low risk that the device trigger maximum duty cycle limitation considering the device variation and temperature.

 Vin min=0.8V
 Vout=5.5V
 Iout=100mA

Duty cycle in thier application is 87%, do you think that there is a risk that device trigger max duty limitaition considering the device variation and temperature?

considering the efficiency the duty cycle is 1-(0.8V*0.7/5.5V) = 90%. So there is risk to trigger duty cycle limitation, and also the current limit.

Your equation of duty cycle is 1-(0.8V*0.7/5.5V)=90%, why is it the input voltage multiplied by 0.7?
