low noise and EMI power module or non isolated switcher solution

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65276V

Hi Guys,

Since I have not yet found what I am looking for I thought I might ask my question in the forum:

I search for a minimum cost/BOM solution for a low noise/EMI PMM solution. So far my results with the WEBENCH are not satisfying. i have the following requirements:

power supply input: 6V(min), 12V(nom), 18V(max):

  1. Load: 2,5V@5,5A(max) --> needs to be low noise for some RF amplifiers (30GHz)
  2. Load: 3,3V@1,5A(max)
  3. Load:-3,3V@0,5A(max)

I think the best approach would be some kind of completely integrated buck converter module with two outputs (one for the 2,5V and one for the 3,3V). For the -3,3V I will use some inverting Rail to Rail OPamps. So far I thought of the TPS65276V. But I don't know if this would be good regarding EMI and low noise. The µModules from linear technology/ADI seem really great but they are pretty exspensive (approx. 30€/pc.). I would be glad if there exist something much cheaper as a solution.

best regards

Benjamin
