TPS63027: 0.5~1F output cap of TPS63027

Hi Team,

I have a question about output cap of TPS63027.

Does TPS63027 work if output cap uses 0.5~1F?

TPS63027 has internal softstart and short circuit protection so during start-up, I think TPS63027 can work by limitting current limit.

However, in terms of stability(phase and gain), I'm not sure TPS63027 can work correctly with 0.5~1F output cap.

What do you think TPS63027 can work even if it is with 0.5~1F output cap?

below is requrement for TPS63027

Vin: 2.7~4.5V

Vout: 3.3V

Iout: 1.5A

If you have alternaive devices please let me know?

Theoretically I would not expect any issues in terms of stability when operating with a huge capacitance at the output. We need to take in account that the converter can run quite some time at the current limit to charge the capacitor.
Did you already take a look at the TPS630250?

Why is such a huge capacitance needed?
What is the end application?
