Oh dear Youhao Xi. That means I need to add the two tolerances before setting up the power good threshold 4% plus 1.5% equals 5.5%. If I set my power good tolerance at say 6% for argument sake, the supply could actually be 11.5% down.

Will they at least drift in the same direction with temperature?

It will be really really worst case to end up with that big tolerance. Another way to look at it is to do an RMS of these tolerances. Regarding the drift over temperature, they may move in the same direction if they are based on the same reference. I need to ask our designer to look into it to get a confirmation.

Please ask engineer, otherwise there is no advantage in using the part and I may as well use a more generic discreet solution. Thank you.

This will take some time because this part is recently transferred to our group. We need to find the design file and look into it. Will keep you posted.

Good news: Our designer looked into the design and found they both refer to the same band gap, meaning they should drift in the same direction over temp.

Hope this closes the issue.
