I want to use TPS7A4001 to generate 10V VCC bias voltage for LM5161. But the input voltage is between 8.6V to 59V.

I used TPS7A4001 Pspice model to simulate and get output equal to Vin-Vdropout even if the Vin lower than 10V which i set.

It's that correct?

Hi,

Yes, if your resistor divider is setup so that Vout=10V but Vin is less than 10V+Vdropout then this will cause Vout to be Vin+Vdropout unless Vin is less than the minimum input voltage of 7V.
Using the Vdropout vs Iout curve to estimate Vdropout, I see that it's ~500mV at 25mA, so if you put 8.6V in and get almost 8.1V out then that seems reasonable to me.
