BQ34Z100-G1: Is VEN pin pulse duration configurable ?

Hi,

I am using the BQ34Z100-G1 on a custom electronic board.

When my board is only powered by the battery, I use the VEN pin to activate voltage divider only during the measurement by the gauge (the gauge is in SLEEP mode or FULL SLEEP Mode), this is working fine.

However, when my board is powered by an external source (battery is charging, gauge is in NORMAL Mode), I would like to force VEN pin to be continuously high. (Because I am using the voltage divider for an other part of my schematic)
Is it possible? How can I do that ?

Currently, in NORMAL Mode, I see a 125ms pulse every 1000ms, my aim is to get this pulse larger or if possible continously at high level.

It is not possible. that 125ms is the time take n for gauge to make a voltage measurement.

Hi Onyx,

Thank you for your answer.
I understand that 125ms is the minimum time for voltage measurement but it would have been great this duration could have be increased.
Because of your answer and also because since one week I had time to learn again and again the datatasheet, it is sure now that the pulse duration is not configurable.
