UCC28063 has minimum switching frequency rating??

fmin can be calculated by Vin, L1max and Pout.

So there is no limit minimum frequency?

Hello Mason,

Yes you are correct.

You can set the minimum frequency to anything you wish however the minimum frequency is usually set at greater than 20kHz.

Anything less than 20kHz will be in the audio frequency range and this will cause most customers to disapprove.

If you make the minimum switching frequency too high then the switching losses become excessive. 25kHz to 35kHz is generally the best compromise for minimum frequency
