I need to programmatically change values in the LED Configuration (0x47F2) during Final Testing.

I need to change the value from "00 17" to "00 13", run some tests and then change it back to "00 17"

Is there a way to do this?

Larry,

You can send commands to change data memory parameters using the advance SMB window. See the TRM of the gauge for further details on how to change df parameters.

0x47F2 does not appear in the MAC list on page 80-81 of SLUUBC1C. What command would I use to set 0x47F2 to a value of 00 13?

0x47F2 is the address location in the data flash for the LED Configuration register. You can use the 0x44 command to change parameters in the data flash. TI has an applications brief that provides an example and it can be found on the bq40z50 website. "Bq40z50 Data Memory Programming for Mass Production"
