Please send sequence of command for update chem id.

  • Arun,

pls program the chem id on the gauge using bqstudio, carry out a learning cycle, then extract an srec file. You will program multiple devices using the srec. You can't just program only the chem id.

    thanks
    Onyx

After you get bqStudio to work, then you can open it and try communicating with the EV2300 and the gauge. If you have problems communicating with the gauge, then you may need to update the EV2300. Check the firmware version in the top section of the Dashboard on the left side of the bqStudio screen. If shows that your EV2300 has v3.1c firmware, then it may need to be upgraded to v3.1m or v3.1r. They have some improvements with I2C communications. Unfortunately, you must have two EV2300's to update the firmware on one. It is better to use the EV2400 as it can be upgraded more easily and it uses Windows drivers instead of the TI developed drivers.
