hello

Is there any synchronization needed between ucc28180 and ucc28950 controller in offline power supply?

    The UCC28180 cannot be synchronised to an an external source. The SYNC input to the UCC28950 must run at twice the switching frequency so if you could synchronise it to the gate output of the UCC28180 it woudl run at 50kHz where the UCC28180 was running at 100kHz. This could be addressed by a PLL but at the cost of increased complexity.

    What power level are you working at ?  normally the UCC28950 would be paired with a UCC28070 PFC stage and the UCC28070 can be sychronised to an external source.

    I am looking for 750W OFFLINE POWER SUPPLY, but not getting how I should pair or synchronize for start up, the pfc ic and the dc-dc controller ic?any literature available for the same?
