BQ25896: Any recommendations for a low cost, small charger with I2C?

I'm currently using a BQ25896 but am wondering if there are any recommendations for a

lower power charger with I2C interface? I don't need the 3A sourcing capability of the

BQ25896,... I think at most my new system will only draw 200 mA. Also I'm probably

going to use a Lithium-Ion single cell with 300 mAh capacity.

Hey Tom,

You may want to look at the LP3947. If you feel that the power loss is too great at 500mA load, we can take a look at bq24157.

Please note that both of these devices are non-powerpath devices, meaning your battery and system are connected to the same point, and VSYS will track with VBAT.

If you need power-path, the next option I'd recommend is the bq2429x (292i, 295, 296, 297), family or the bq2560x (601, 600, 600D) family of parts.

Thanks for the (as usual) quick reply!

I'll take a look at these,... powerpath is nice to have but I've put a slide switch in the design
for the user to disconnect the battery from the system (when either charging or shipping).

bq25120 is a linear charger with I2C.

The bq24157 looks great but is there something similar which allows me to read the battery Voltage?
