Actually , we are troubleshooting an old design which using BQ78350/BQ769640 fuel gauge! and, we checked out the datasheets, but still we need your advice, and help:
- Which SBS Command (BQ78350) to enable PEC? Otherwise the SmBus Command value to enable Packet Error Checking?
- How to know in advance the PEC Byte value: The host PC(Master) compute the PEC value; thereby it knows this value, but something is not clear for the fuel gauge side(Slave), where the expected PEC Value is unknown!
- Which Fuel gauge (14 serial cells), could you advice for our on the way design?
