LM5060-Q1: Latch-up Performance

Part Number: LM5060-Q1

Dear, Sir.

My customer is asking about latch-up performance of LM5060-Q1, because they

must report these to OEM company. So, I would like to confirm followings.

I am so sorry to ask this kind of matter, but hoping to get your help at this time.

1. Does LM5060-Q1 meet with AEC-Q100-004 Rev.C like latch-up testing?

If Yes, Please let me know the standard number.

2. If above No,

Is it possible to clarify the latch-up performance(current capability & duration, Vsupply) on

    each pins?

Best Regards,

H. Sakai

  • Sakai-san,

This will take a day or two to look into.

  • Dear, Brian-san.

Thank you so much for all of your support.

I forgot to fill out this question on previous mail.

Please give your advice. Sorry for this additional.

    3. Input Voltage Difference.

Is it no problem when EN pin voltage was higher than VIN voltage?

    Best Regards,

  • Sakai-san,

Answers to your questions in red:

    1. Does LM5060-Q1 meet with AEC-Q100-004 Rev.C like latch-up testing?

If Yes, Please let me know the standard number.

Yes, the LM5060-Q1 was qual tested per latch up AEC-Q100-004, Rev C dated 1998.  The qual was completed Sept of 2011, prior to Rev D AEC-Q100-004 being active.

    2. If above No,

Is it possible to clarify latch-up performance(current capability & duration, Vsupply) on

       each pins?

    NA with above answer.

    3. Input Voltage Difference.

Is it no problem when EN pin voltage was higher than VIN voltage?

EN can go higher than Vin, but cannot exceed the abs max +75v per the DS.
