Hi

I have a simple question.

This device has a average (inductor) current limit in the high side (buck)switch.

So that , we can estimate a current limit as following at each mode,

 at Boost : Iave = Eff * Isw * Vin/Vout

 at Buck : Iave = Iout

Is my understanding correct?

    The average current is detected in the switches and limited in the control circuit. In boost mode this current limit defines the maximum average input current and in buck mode this current limit defines the maximum average output current for the converter.
