BQ24133: Bootstrap capacitor of bq24133

Hi, team,

In the datasheet of bq24133, it is suggested to use 47nF for the bootstrap capacitor, why is 47nf, can we use 100nF? what's the impact? Thanks!

Hi Nicole,

There should not be an issue if you change it to 100nF, assuming the layout on the CBOOT does not have a long trace (place CBOOT as close as possible between the pins BTST and SW). You should test this on an EVM to make sure.
