Hi,

I understand that you recommend to create keep out area around comm line to improve BCI performance. Now I'd like to discuss it in the case of daisy-chain on same board as Fig.11 of SLUA785. I guess that this keep out area is not necessary when the daisy-chain is configured on the same board. Is my understanding correct?

Hi Satoshi,

The layout reference you mentioned is outdated - i actually need to update it. I believe i have shared the updated version with you previously, but we recommend a keepout on all layers.

I would say that maintaining the keepout would provide better performance for ICs on the same PCB as well.
