TPS27082L: Why TPS27082L became NRND?

Hi there ,

We just changed a loadswitch from TPS27081A to TPS27082L in our product, but today I suddenly found TPS27082L became “Not recommend for new design” on TI website.

Are there any specific reasons for TPS27082L become NRND? Thanks.

    Hi Yi Xiao,

    The TPS27082L does not have any issues, but we have come out with newer devices that provide more integration and features in the same package.

    For applications under 6V, we recommend the TPS22918. Otherwise, the TPS22810 can be used.
