Dear Support team

My customer is considering replacing TPS54040 with TPS 57040-Q1 for automotive compatibility.

As they were performing the evaluation, oscillation was seen at low temperature. Is this due to changing the IC?

So far as i know, there is no difference between those two devices that would affect stability. Are you sure you are seeing oscillation? Can you post a waveform?

Yes that looks like instability. I am not sure why as there is no difference in the device parameters. Can you post your schematic?
