TPS92692-Q1: CISPR-25 class 5

Part Number: TPS92692-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS92692

Dear Sir

My end customer their LED driver solution need to pass CISPR-25 class 5

They saw our EVM test report can pass class 3

1. If need to pass class 5 ,do you have any idea how to do?

2. Have any TI LED driver solution have CISPR 25 class test report ? I will forward this information to customer

Thanks

  • Hello Kai,

Class 5 is more stringent so would require more filtering at lower frequencies and figuring out the system for the higher frequencies tested.

Our in house capability can measure down to Class 3. We plan on testing to the higher standard at a nearby lab but have not yet.

I will check if we have any data for Class 5.

    Regards,
  • Dear Sir

    This is very important

If our solution can pass class 5 ,it will be priority 1 solution in our customer

So far their all solution need to pass class 4 at least

    Please kindly help to confirm

    Thanks

  • Hello Kai,

I have no information on Class 5 results regarding TPS92692.  This level of compliance will be a system level design and how to deal with common mode, shielding and appropriate filtering for the lower frequency conducted.  The controller (IC) can affect this but is really a small part of the EMI design.

Do they have capability to test in house?  I can help with recommendations if they know where their problems issues are.  Do they have the EVM and have they tested it?

    Regards,
