BQ34Z653: Support within bqStudio?

Hello.

I am using the bq34Z653 (an active part) and I am able to install bqstudio latest version:

Battery Management Studio ( bqStudio )

Version : 1.3.54.1

Build Date : July 18, 2017

And bqstudio emits "Auto Detected Device 653_1_01" but this part is not listed in the list of supported devices.

Is it possible to use the newer bqstudio with the bq34Z653? If so, how? If not, which version of bqstudio should I be running?

Thank you -- the newer bqstudio software is markedly improved over the bqEVSW 0.7.9 ... if the new software could support the '653, and even the bq34z651 (NRND, but still in production), that would be extremely helpful. There appears to be so much similarity across the parts that I would assume that supporting some of the older and popular parts in the new bqStudio would not be too much trouble ...
