I am using the BQ40Z50-R1,and i donot want the AOLD,how can I set in BQ Studio?

    You can disable the hardware protection flags from setting in the Status registers, but you cannot disable the feature from disabling the FETs. The sense resistor and protection thresholds will have to be set to support your maximum currents.

    thx. And can you tell me how to set the status registers? after this, when current is over the threshold ,the XDSG is not set?

    You can set the bits corresponding to the faults that you want to be reported in the Status registers in the Protections registers under Settings section of the Data Memory screen in bqStudio. AOLD is one of the options in one of the four Protections registers. This should allow the AOLD flag to set in the Status register if the fault occurs. The XDSG flag should set, if a discharge current fault occurs and the DSG FET is disabled.
