Please can you take capture scope shots of the Switch node and Gnd of the Device at 48V in?

I am curious to know if your design is stable and what frequency you are switching at and last but not least, the voltage swings at the switch node?

Hello David,

We implemented circuit as per your suggestion. The details of it i am sending in Image files.

Still current  very high (2-3A)

Can you send us tested schematic which having 84V as Vin min and 90V as Vin Max with Vout 12V and Iout is 500mA.

Please see below, link to EVM user guide, this was a 10V output test up to 100V in.

 

I am still not clear what you are measuring?  However, I believe a voltage measurement is far more useful in this circumstance?  Please can you take a measurement of the switch node?  That is the Device side of the inductor.
