TPS63020: Buck Boost Recommendation

Part Number: TPS63020
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63050

Hello,

Can I please get a bit of help with a buck boost recommendation? I seem to be dancing around all of your TPS630xxx family, but can't seem to get the right combination. I would appreciate your $0.02.

I am currently using a TPS63020 for a single cell Li-Ion to 3.3V@ 1A application. It is great, except I would really like a softstart pin. I'm running on a single cell Li-Ion and powering a FPGA. So I have a startup transient I need to carefully control and voltage rails I need to properly sequence. I've already implemented the diode at the FB pin for the TPS63020. It is okay, but its long startup messes with my power sequencing. The TPS63050 has a SS pin, but it's FETs are too small and in a CSP package. Below are my requirements. Again, I would appreciate you feedback.

Requirements

1. Li-Ion (2.8 to 4.2V) input to 3.3V@1A output.

2. Non-CSP package (SON, QFN, etc)

3. SS pin.

Thanks for the input!
