On the datasheet, there are mentioned about high side overcurrent protection and low side overcurrent protection.

How does these protection work when the output is shorted to ground?

Also, do you have pin to pin short and open test data for TPS54335?

Hi Koji-san,

For your first question.

When output short to GND, the high side source current limit would be triggered, after the hiccup wait time (512 cycle time), device stops switching. Waiting for 16384 cycle time, the hiccup time before restart, device start working again. Repeat above behavior.

below is a similar waveform tested on TPS54202, which has some different with TPS54335A in the current limit value and the frequency.
