Hi Team,

Quick question on the TPS2H160-Q1/TPS4H160-Q1, what is the max PWM frequency?

This is defined in the TPS1H100-Q1 as 2kHz in the abs max section, but I only see graphs for 200Hz in these datasheets.

Hi John,

The max spec of 2kHz is based on the worst case timing limitations for the device. At a higher frequency, the output may not have enough time to slew up and slew down at the slowest slew rate of 0.1V/us.

For example, at 12V, the worst case rise time would be 120us and fall time would be 120us. The period for a 2kHz signal is only 500us, and 240us of that time would be spent transitioning from high to low and low to high.
