BQ25121: Is the DSBGA package light sensitive?

Is the BQ25121 DSBGA package light sensitive? I am assuming it is because it is a chip scale package, but it would be great to have a definitive answer...

Hello Denis,
Good question. The BQ25121 has a backside coating that makes it less susceptible to light.

Good to know. Isn't it generally the side of an exposed die that has the issue? Do you know if the coating covers the sides?

Denis,
Only the backside has the coating as it is expected that any surrounding components will help prevent having this issue.
